Dr. Kirsten Baca is a graduate of the world-renowned Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Harvard’s Anesthesia and Interventional Pain Management Programs at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She is board certified in both Anesthesia and Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesia. During her training, Dr. Baca performed research with preeminent faculty, including co-authoring a paper with the future presidential candidate, Dr. Ben Carson.

Dr. Baca studies and treats all forms of pain using the best available evidence-based techniques. She specializes in interventional pain management and multi-modal treatment. She focuses on targeted interventional and opioid-minimizing pharmacologic therapies and draws support from adjunctive therapists in Physical and Aquatic Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Chiropractic, Massage, Nutrition, and Acupuncture.

Alayna Checkly, PA-C, is a certified physician’s assistant whose practice is grounded in the use of evidence-based medicine to treat all forms of pain. Ms. Checkly is a graduate of the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science with a Master’s degree in physician assistant studies. She is certified as a member of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She has extensive experience caring for and managing patients with complex, multifocal pain conditions that require full-spectrum pain care strategies.
